Writing an effective cover letter is the first step towards landing your dream job.
Nevertheless, most openings lack personality, just stating the obvious (“I applied for the Sales Representative position”). This is what your cover letter should NOT do. But, I’ve learned that even if my cover letter opening is amazing, not every recruiter will see it before they see something else: a bog-standard opening copied from thin air. They may never give my cover letter an honest read, because they’re so used to seeing these boring attempts at cover letter creativity.
We will discuss about clever business writing and effective cover letter writing in class.
